I didn't know Whitney personally. I found her blog one day, as I was looking for encouragement. I have a dear friend battling cancer and wanted to continue to be a light for her. I took to heart Whitney's words and continue to lean on God for the strength to see her through this tough journey as i help her find the joy through her circumstances. I have prayed for Whitney and will continue to pray for all of you. I'm sorry for your loss but praise God for her light and how her life touched so many and focused them back to God!

We attend The Well PPHC in Pamplico and have prayed for Whitney and her family...We do not understand why God needed her at such a young age, but he has truly gained an angel..... Our preacher and his wife's 5 year old son was killed in an accident in 2014 and we can't help but question why God needed this precious little boy too at such a young age, but God is still God and we have to trust him and know he has them wrapped in his arms and will love them until we can see them again....Will continue to lift this precious family up in prayer....

Whitney touched my heart with her Grace, her Love of God, and the Beauty within Her Eyes! I only had become aware of Whitney's story through FB and Valencia Wicker, former reporter for ABC News 4. We did message a few times. I felt her "Light", just as so many others. So sorry for your loss, prayers are with you and family in the loss of Whitney. Did not know her personally, but kept up about her through the media. She was indeed a remarkable, caring young person who touched many lives, mine included. We know she is in a better place, no pain and loving the Lord and her surroundings. I know how devastating cancer is and can be. I pray for healing and lots of memories of such a beautiful soul inside and out. While I have never met Whitney, everything I've seen and read on social media tells me she was an exemplary woman of strong faith, courage, and strength. Reading of her passing to such a horrendous illness deeply saddens me, but it is clear that her strong faith in God carried her through. Words cannot adequately express the loss I know you feel on the loss of beautiful Whitney. I met Whitney at the cancer clinic. She was a day of sunshine to everyone there. I remember meeting her and talking for hours. She made me feel so special. She encourage me not to loose faith in my struggle to beat my cancer. I am 45 she was 28. You would think I would be the one showing her the way but she showed me the way. She was such a strong woman. I admired her so much. I love her and miss her. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. God be with you. Fly high angel. I know I will see you again in heaven.
