Obituary of Phillip Lee Poste, Sr.

Phillip Lee Poste, Sr, 68, husband of Penny S. Poste, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home. Born on May 31, 1948, in Lowville, NY, he was a son of the late Glenn Poste and the late Elva Robinson Poste. Mr. Poste was a former partner in Carolina Automotive Service in Murrells Inlet and was a jack of all trades that could fix anything. He enjoyed hunting, flying, fixing things and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Carin Poste Hotte (Kevin) of NY, Kimberly Poste Sports (Patrick) of Georgetown and Phillip Lee Poste, Jr. (Ashley) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Bower, Jordan Hotte, Drake Sports and Phillip Lee “Tripp” Poste, III; four brothers, Stephen Poste (Patricia) of NY, Gary Poste (Mary) of CA, Stanley Poste (Thelma) of NY and Dale Poste (Vicky) of TX; special family members, Neil and Virginia Porter of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jerry Poste. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
