Obituary of Harvey Winford Ethridge

Harvey Winford Ethridge, 72, husband of Bonnie Eloise Ward Ethridge, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home. Born on December 15, 1943, in Andrews, he was a son of the late Liston Harvey Ethridge and the late Lorena Long Ethridge. Mr. Ethridge was a member of the First Baptist Church of Andrews and retired from the Georgetown Steel Mill after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and selling cars. Survivors include his wife of Andrews; one son, James Winfred Ethridge of Andrews; one grandson, James Dustin Ethridge of Andrews; one sister, Nellie Powell of Andrews; two brothers, Vernon Ethridge of Andrews and David Ethridge (Linda) of Andrews; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Ethridge. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Christian Fortress.
