Obituary of Darlene McDonald

Vera Darlene Tisdale McDonald, 59, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. Darlene was born on April 9, 1964, in Williamsburg County and was a daughter of Vera Mae Howard Tisdale and the late Carl William Tisdale. She spent her life caring for others. Besides being a caregiver, her number one job was being a mother. She loved her children, grandchildren and family beyond measure. When she wasn’t caring for others, Darlene could be found spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother of Andrews; three children, Jessie Dugan (Lee), Bobby McDonald (Ashley) and Kailey Watts (Carson) all of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Noah Dugan, Ethan McDonald, McKinlee Blake, Jackson Dugan, Dalton McDonald and Piper Watts all of Georgetown; two sisters, Sabrina Adair (John) of Murrells Inlet and Karla Canteen (Reggie) of Timmonsville; two brothers, William Tisdale (Kathy) of Andrews and Greg Tisdale of Kingstree; the father of her children, Robert McDonald of Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
