Obituary of Dalton McCutchen
Dalton Eugene McCutchen, 72, husband of Delores Ann Lambert McCutchen, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home.
Born on January 10, 1952, in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late Omeca McCutchen and the late Janetta Ard McCutchen. Mr. McCutchen attended Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from International Paper Company after 42 years of service. As an avid outdoorsman, Mr. McCutchen enjoyed fishing, fox hunting and taking Pickels for a ride on the golf cart. Aside from spending time outdoors, Mr. McCutchen enjoyed cooking BBQ and sitting in his recliner watching westerns.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two children, Brian McCutcheon (Crystal) of Andrews and Stephanie Ostrander (Michael) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Raegan Ostrander (Scott Amann) of Georgetown, Eric McCutcheon (Jayce) of Andrews, Trey McCutcheon (Madison) of Andrews and Patrick Ostrander of North Myrtle Beach; three step grandchildren, Tara Ostrander of Myrtle Beach, Michael Ostrander of Myrtle Beach and Jessica Ostrander of Myrtle Beach; two great grandchildren, Ryder McCutcheon and Raelynn McCutcheon; three step great grandchildren, Ashton Ostrander, Owen Ostrander and Evelyn Ostrander; one brother, Harold McCutchen (Toni) of Georgetown; a sister, Wanda Altman (Joe) of Johnsonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 23, 2024, at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Sand Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
