Obituary of Bobbie Ard Bullock

Bobbie Jean Ard Bullock, 85, widow of Donial Lavern Bullock, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at MUSC. Born on July 29, 1938 in Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Sep Ard and the late Essie Shelley Ard. Mrs. Bullock had a great love for taking care of others and it was this love that led her to not only be a wonderful mother to her own children, but also a foster mother to more than 30 other children. Her greatest achievement in life was her family. Mrs. Bullock was a member of North Hampton Baptist Church and also enjoyed gardening. Survivors include six children, Linda Collins, Donna Gamble, Sharon Casselman (Donald), Patricia Johnson (Jeff), Shannon Bullock and William Jones (Andrea) all of Georgetown; a great-grandchild that she was raising, Josaleyn Guillermo of Georgetown; 16 grandchildren, Scottie, Tracy, Sabrina, Sonya, Katrina, Melissa, Jodi, Nicole, Michelle, Jenna, Elijah, Devin, Destiny, Storm, Ethan and Alivia; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her beloved fur babies, Daisey and Chico; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Casselman; and a sister, Marie Blakely. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Victory Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
