Obituary of Claude V. Ward

Claude Vernon Ward, 77, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his home. Born on February 27, 1946, he was a son of the late John Porter Ward and the late Lilace Christine Taylor Ward. Mr. Ward was a simple man who loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Survivors include a special friend, Helen Freeman of Andrews; three children, Marie Livingston of TX, Tracy Ward of Andrews and Jason Ward (Cassie) of FL; a stepdaughter, Amber Freeman of Conway; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Jones (Randall) of Andrews and Christine Smith (Jack) of Andrews; two brothers, Joseph Ward (Elizabeth) of Georgetown and Roger Ward of Andrews; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Spring Pond Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
