Obituary of Charles Franklin McCutcheon

Charles Franklin McCutcheon, 71, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023. Born on July 14, 1952, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Thomas Franklin McCutcheon and the late Adrial Browder McCrea. Mr. McCutcheon was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church and kept busy spending time outdoors and fishing. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Lambert (Kevin) of Georgetown and Sarah Patton of Murrells Inlet; seven grandchildren, Torie Lambert Cooper, Brandon McCutcheon, Zach Lambert (Madeline Powell), Chelsea McCutcheon, Lanee Patton, Landon Patton and Lakota Patton; four great-grandchildren, Diamond Cooper, Hayden Wilkins, Rivers Cooper and August McCutcheon; one sister, Elaine Roberts (Johnny) Cullowhee, NC; three nieces, Amy Bleckley (Daryl) of Sylva, NC, Erin Roberts (Chad) of Sylva, NC and Lily Gates of Sylva, NC; and two nephews, Brandon Files of Andrews and JB Justice of Cullowhee, NC. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Ann McCutcheon; and a brother, Thomas Carroll McCutcheon. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Piney Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
