Obituary of Bonnie Johnson

Bonnie Faye Huggins Johnson, 77, widow of Charles Foster Johnson, Jr., passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her daughter’s home. Born on June 10, 1946, in Gurley, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Roy Huggins and the late Annie Beatrice Lane Huggins. Mrs. Johnson was a member of United Christian Outreach and had a great love for the Christmas season. The love Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had for the Christmas season was displayed in their yard for the community to enjoy. Along with her love for Christmas, Mrs. Johnson enjoyed shopping, eating at the Ball and Que, fellowshipping at church and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Christy Nesbitt (Derek) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Candyce Watford (Brent) of Andrews, JJ Zurawski (Kaitlin) of Georgetown, Tristan Johnson (Lexi) of Georgetown and Savannah Cribb (Chuckie) of Georgetown; four great grandchildren, Victoria, Everleigh, Charlie and Ezekiel; four nephews, Bobby Britt (Angie), Neil Britt (Tammy), Freddie Britt (Dawn) and Kevin Britt all of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Foster Johnson, III; one sister, Patricia Britt; and one nephew, Timmy Britt. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
