Obituary of Janette Elizabeth Mercer Miller

Janette Elizabeth Mercer Miller, 84, widow of Odell Miller, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. Born on February 27, 1939, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Dueward Belmont “Stuckey” Mercer and the late Neeley Bone Mercer. Mrs. Miller was the owner and operator of Janette’s Superburger and enjoyed fishing, traveling to the mountains, playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Miller White of Georgetown, Amy Miller Stone (Steve) of Andrews, and Janet Tooty Miller Bone (Terry) of Georgetown; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Powell (Dustin), Lawson White, Steven Dillon Stone, Caleb Stone, Alicyn Bone, Emily Bone, Addy Byrdic (Justin), Heidi Bone; three great-grandchildren, Savanna Powell, Gracelyn Powell and Millie Powell; one sister Patricia Howard (Tommy) of Georgetown; two brothers, William "Tumpy" Mercer (Mildred) of Georgetown, Dueward "Buddy" Mercer of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Davis, Wanda Mercer, Sharon Mercer and Helen Belcher; and two brothers, Roger Mercer and Joe Mercer. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, at 1447 Indian Hut Rd.
