Obituary of James W. Gray

James Walter “Jimmy” Gray, 25, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Born on June 6, 1990, in Georgetown, he was a son of Joey Maurice Gray and Kathryn Jane Dunn Gray. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his daughter. Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Jane Dunn Gray of Georgetown; father, Joey Maurice Gray (Etta) Owens; a daughter, Aubrey Elise Gray (Kamra Cook); one sister, Nancy Wall (Kevin) of Georgetown; two brothers, Joey Gray, Jr. (Dodie) of Georgetown and Aaron Gray (Kristina) of Georgetown; maternal grandmother, Betty Dunn (Barry Clarke) of Charleston; paternal grandfather, Jessie Gray of Georgetown; and numerous aunts, uncles and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Willie Jane Gray; and one uncle, Jessie Gray, II. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, May 23, 2016 at Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church.
