Obituary of Willie Lambert

Charles William “Willie” Lambert, 60, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at his home. Born on March 18, 1963, in Williamsburg County, to the late Charles Fields Lambert and the late Shelby Casselman Hocutt. Willie had a passion and gift for driving 18-wheelers, which he did happily for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his two fur babies, Sulley and Taz. Survivors include his love and soulmate of 15 years, Darlene McDonald; his sister, Melody Welch of Georgetown; his brother, Drew Lambert (Lauren) of Georgetown; two daughters, Kerry Jewell of Georgetown and Brianna (Linc) of Andrews; three bonus children that he loved as his own, Jessica Dugan (Lee) of Georgetown, Bobby McDonald (Ashley) of Georgetown, and Kailey Watts (Carson) of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Robbie Jewell, Dustin Jewell, Brittney Jewell, Angel Jewell, Paisley Gray, and Atherlin Gray; and six bonus grandchildren, Noah Dugan, Jackson Dugan, Ethan McDonald, Dalton McDonald, McKinlee Blake, and Piper Watts. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Fields Lambert and mother, Shelby Casselman Hocutt. Per Willie’s wishes, services will be private.
