Obituary of James Henry Pinner, Jr.

James Henry “Jim” Pinner, Jr, 77, husband of Barbara Faye Phillips Pinner, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023. Born on January 2, 1946, in Conway, he was a son of the late James Henry Pinner, Sr. and the late Ruth Iona Prince Pinner. Mr. Pinner was a member of Georgetown First Assembly of God and was a US Navy veteran. He enjoyed riding around, talking with friends and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of Bonneau; two children, James Henry Pinner, III and Kimberly Pinner both of Bonneau; two sisters, Dolores Anne Pinner Martin (Joe) of Conway and Carol Mixson (Sammy) of Georgetown; two brothers, Bob Pinner Sr. (Shirley) of Conway and Dick Pinner (Marie) of Newport, TN; a sister-in-law, Nancy Pinner of Murrells Inlet; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Pinner. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Georgetown First Assembly of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
