Obituary of Donald Edward Tulloh
Donald Edward Tulloh, 86, of Pawleys Island, SC, passed away on April 22, 2023, after a long illness.
Don was born on December 17, 1936, to Charles and Pauline Hatfield Tulloh in St. Albans, WV. After graduating from St. Albans HS in 1954, Don enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, Don embarked on a 38-year career with the Federal Aviation Administration as a radar technician, retiring in 1993.
Don spent most of his retired days on the golf course and loved to travel. Don was a standout basketball player in high school and continued to play while in the Navy. He was inducted into the St. Albans High School Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. Don was a loving devoted family man. He was a beacon of light to all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed.
Don was predeceased in death by parents, Charles A. and Pauline Hatfield Tulloh; brothers, Charles Tulloh Jr. Max Tulloh, Doug Tulloh, Bill Tulloh and Ray Tulloh; sisters Marian Wellman, Betty Jo Lavender, Charlene Eskew; wives, June Estep Tulloh and Sheila Jo Wilson Tulloh; and granddaughter, April Tulloh.
Don is survived by a brother, Philip Tulloh of Fort Mill SC; children, Glen Tulloh of Pawleys Island SC, Rose Tulloh Childers of Sitka AK, and Lori Wilson Mays of Pawleys Island SC, eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a spreading of ashes ceremony in July 2023 in West Virginia.
