Obituary of Katherine Elizabeth Roberts

Katherine Elizabeth Thomas Roberts, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on February 17, 1948, in Andrews, she was a daughter of the late Henry Thomas and the late Dorothy Turner Thomas. Mrs. Roberts attended Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening, painting, traveling the mountains, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Ethan Fontaine (Chrissandra) of Conway; four grandchildren, Devin Lambert (Autumn) of Georgetown, Heather Lambert of Georgetown, Candace Taylor (Kristopher) of Andrews and Sebastian Fontaine of Conway; three great-grandchildren, Valerie Taylor, Ellington Lambert and Jordan Taylor; one brother, James Fontaine (Catherine) of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Margaret Carpenter of Johnsonville and Darlene Fontaine of Columbia; a son-in-law, Steve Lambert of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Lambert; and one brother, Randy Thomas. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 27, 2023, in the Nesmith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon - 1 PM Thursday at the graveside.
