Obituary of Donnie Cribb, Jr.

Fred Donnie Cribb, Jr., 50, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at MUSC. Born on May 30, 1972, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Fred Donnie Cribb, Sr. and the late Patricia Yonnette Miller Cribb. Mr. Cribb was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church and a former member of Boggy Swamp Hunting Club. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time on the water, fishing, shrimping and crabbing. Survivors include one son, Joshua Cribb (Courtney Cook) of Andrews; one brother, Tony Cribb (Linda) of Hemingway; three sisters, Melanie Eliason (Alan) of Florence, Nannette Moore (Kelley) of Georgetown and Nicole Spell (Daniel) of Hillsborough, NC; six nieces, Ashley Johnson, Toni Weaver, Danielle Hubbard, Courtney Eliason, Annie Ruth Eliason and Megan Strickland; four nephews, Gary Eliason, Timmy Strickland, Matthew Spell and Patrick Spell; and a cousin, Beckie McAlister (Robert) of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by two sons, DJ Cribb and JD Cribb; and a special cousin, O'Brian Cribb. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM prior to the service.
