Obituary of James Randy McCormick

James Randy McCormick, 67, widower of Sally Turner McCormick, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at MUSC. Born on October 2, 1955, in Conway, he was the son of the late Issac Frank McCormick, Sr. and the late Nellie Brown McCormick. Mr. McCormick enjoyed fishing and playing poker. Survivors include one daughter, Maranda Jones; one brother, Issac F. McCormick, Jr.; two sisters, Edith Wortham and Lisa Williams; three grandchildren, Savannah Willington, Gavin Jordan, and Hannah Vellez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two brothers, Gerald McCormick, and Carl McCormick; and four sisters, Frances Trueluck, Margie Trueluck, Linda Haselden, and Cynthia Gray. A memorial service will be held from 1 PM – 3 PM, Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Randy’s home, 5425 Hardwick Shortcut Road, Conway, SC 29527.
