Obituary of Angie Johnson Harter

Angie Corine Johnson Harter, 43, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023. Born on November 24, 1979, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late Ivan Johnson and the late Sarah Elizabeth Lambert Johnson. Angie was employed with Coastal Wire Company and an extremely hard worker. She wasn’t scared of work. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach and taking her dog, Cooper, on walks. She treated Cooper like he was her second child. Angie loved her daughter unconditionally and loved spending time with her. She was full of life and would help anyone in need. She had a huge heart and never met a stranger. Survivors include her husband, Marion Glenn Harter, a daughter, Alanis Sierra Poston; four brothers, Barry Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Casey Johnson, and Jason Johnson; a best friend, Linda Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kelvin Johnson, Darrin Johnson, Sr., and Stanley Johnson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Ridgeway Funeral Home.
