Condolence and prayers to the family. I was very sad when reading of Bob's passing. Since the the early nineties, I spoke with him over the years on a number of occasions, puchased from and traded equipment with him and visited his home in april of '93 in Irvington while on tour with a show band. He let me try many horns that day and was very kind, informative and caring in my pursuit of saxophone excellence. I remember that he even gave me am impromptu flute recital....it was a wonderful day I'll never forget. Bob was a lot of fun too, always a character, but first and foremost he was concerned about finding the right equipment setup to enhance your musical growth. He spoke and traded with many, many people over the years, a lot with high acumen in the music world, but no matter who it was you were never just another customer with Bob. He took his time and made you feel like a friend. I'll cherish his memory and will miss him.
