Obituary of Pat Brady

Patricia Ann “Pat” Brady, 58, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at her home. Pat was born on September 12, 1964, in Georgetown, a daughter of the late Charles Brady and the late Eula Mae Wiggins Vopelak. She was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was served as a formed vacation bible school teacher. Pat enjoyed crafting, especially making wreaths, cooking, going on cruises, Darlington Race day and most of all spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. Survivors include a daughter, Shallon Brady McConnell (Courtney) of Andrews; two granddaughters, Blakely McConnell and Addison "Addie" McConnell both of Andrews; one aunt, Janie Dean of Georgetown; one nephew, Lance Britt of Jamestown; a special cousin, Melissa Butler of Georgetown; and a special friend, Anthony Ethridge of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by a step father, Donald Vopelak; a sister, Tammy Britt; one nephew, Marty Robin "Pappy" Britt, Jr.; and multiple beloved family members. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Wiggins Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pallbearers will be Damein Thomas, Mark Thomas, Kalib Thomas, Jeffery Wiggins, Tyler Thomas and Logan Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be David Dean and Robbie Dean. The family would like to thank Ashley Thomas, Dr. Mark Triana, Amedysis Home Health and many other neighbors and family for their loving care and friendship they gave to Pat over the years.
