Obituary of Olga Bass Woodward Russ

Olga Bass Woodward Russ, 95, widow of Charlie Russ, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her son’s home. Born on August 1, 1927, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late William H. Bass and the late Lessie Goude Bass. Mrs. Russ was a member of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for Georgetown Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include three children, Becky W. Dickson of Georgetown, Jack F. Woodward, Jr. (Ana) of Georgetown and Timothy Woodward of Georgetown; 10 grandchildren, Jay Dennis (Cassie) of Myrtle Beach, Dawn Ard (Shane) of Georgetown, Timothy Woodward, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Brandon Woodward of Myrtle Beach, Korre Woodward (Chris) of Georgetown, Brenda Rojas of Georgetown, Bernice Rojas of Georgetown and Bianca Rojas (Tony) of Dallas, TX, Cesar Melchor of Georgetown and Josh Melchor of Dallas, TX; six great grandchildren, Ryler Dennis of Japan, Bryson Ard of Georgetown, Jayden Bailey of Georgetown, Kara Woodward of OH, Gage Woodward of OH and AJ Kerr of Dallas, TX; one brother, William H. "Billy'' Bass (Rosa Lee) of Hemingway; and one sister, Audrey Johnson of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack F. Woodward, Sr.; and three brothers, Floyd Bass, Ronnie Bass and Donnie Bass. Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
