Obituary of Mickie Baldwin
Mable Missroon “Mickie” Baldwin, 82, widow of James Leonard Baldwin, Sr., passed away Monday, October 24, 2022.
Born on December 13, 1939, in Bucksport, she was a daughter of the late Mildred P. Missroon and the late Charles P. Missroon. Mrs. Baldwin was the last charter member of Friendfield Presbyterian Church, a church and church family she dearly loved. Mrs. Baldwin was an Elder, choir member, Sunday school teacher and worked on many committees within the church. For 18 years she worked as the attendance clerk at Kensington Elementary. She loved playing bridge, dancing, singing, crossword puzzles, painting and reading.
Her home and yard were her pride and joy, a place where she loved to sit and watch the birds, and had a great love for her Kensington neighbors of 61 years on Sumter Street. Mrs. Baldwin loved to cook and care for family and friends. She never met a stranger and always had a smile.
