Obituary of Jerry Larue Prosser

Jerry Larue Prosser, 67, widower of Elnita Claire Creel Prosser, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. Born on May 10, 1955, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Sam O. Prosser and the late Doris Virginia Jordan Prosser. Mr. Prosser worked for International Paper Company for more than 40 years. He lived life to the fullest and had a great love for cars, especially a Ford Mustang Shelby. Survivors include one brother, Robert Prosser (Tracy) of Georgetown; five nieces, Brittany Sports (Nick) of Georgetown, Wendy Jordan (Jeff) of Andrews, Cindy Marshall of Georgetown, Mindy Davis (Shannon) of Andrews and April Coradi of Socastee; and one nephew, Justin Eaddy of Wilmington, NC. He was preceded in death by one brother, Sam O. Prosser. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
