Obituary of Jake Wall
Jacobb Timothy “Jake” Wall, 29, husband of Carson Elizabeth Owens Wall, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Jake was born on February 10, 1993, in Georgetown, a son of Timothy Alex Wall and Mary Bell Wall. He was a 2011 graduate of Georgetown High School and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Forest Resource Management and a minor in Agriculture Mechanization and Business. Jake was a member of Prince George Winyah Church. He worked many jobs and was never afraid of hard work. From welding to land management to the first mate of a shrimp boat, he always found a way to support himself and his family. During his time working on a shrimp boat, Jake helped in the rescue of several capsized boats, whose occupants owe their lives and well-being to Jake and the rest of the crew for their swift action.
Jake had a passion for history and enjoyed learning and talking about the history of Georgetown. Along with his love of history, he enjoyed collecting bottles, fishing, hunting, swimming, surfing and spending time with his family, especially his children. Jake had a personality that would light up a room and was never afraid to stand out in the crowd. He never met a stranger, and would go out of his way to ensure no one had a bad time. Everyone was his friend.
