Obituary of Larry Clifford Jacobs

Larry Clifford Jacobs, 66, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at his home. Mr. Jacobs was born on May 2, 1955, in Georgetown County, a son of the late Charlie Clifford Jacobs and the late Mellie Lucille Sessions Jacobs. He attended Georgetown Church of God and retired after working 38 years at Santee Cooper – Winyah Generating Station. Mr. Jacobs enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Survivors include one sister, Judy Johnson (Ronnie) of Georgetown; two nieces, Adrienne Watford (Dave) of Georgetown and Lisa Forbes (Robbie) of Andrews; six nephews, Tony Young (Melinda) of Georgetown, Scott Young (Jill) of Georgetown, Wade Young (Amanda) of Georgetown, Adam Johnson (Melissa) of Summerton, Juston Johnson (Tracy) of Georgetown and Paul Forbes (Erin) of Georgetown; two brothers in law, Paul Forbes of Georgetown and Jim Young of North Port, FL; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Young and Frances Forbes; two nieces, Jesse Johnson Floyd and Candy Lynn Forbes; and a nephew, Shawn Young. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
