Obituary of A.C. Barrineau, Jr.

Aubrey Cleveland “A.C.” Barrineau, Jr., 79, husband of Opal Clark Barrineau, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at his home. Born on August 4, 1942, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Aubrey Cleveland Barrineau, Sr. and the late Geneva Steen Barrineau. Mr. Barrineau was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist and was a United States Air Force Veteran. After retiring from White’s Welding, Mr. Barrineau went on to work for the Georgetown County School District as a bus driver. He was a simple man that enjoyed a simple life, being at home and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; four daughters, Judy Lynn Skinner, Sandra B. Horvath, Amy B. Menedez (Jorge) and Tammy Bourne (Ronnie) all of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one brother, Charles W. Barrineau of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by a son, Darrel Barrineau; two daughters, Pamela Barrineau Sanchez and Shelia A. Barrineau; one brother, Bill Barrineau; and one sister, Audrey Blake. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
