Obituary of Carl Patterson Squires
Carl Patterson Squires, 77, widower of Harriet Carolyn Casselman Squires, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Squires was born on January 30, 1944, in Mullins, a son of the late Junior Patterson Squires and the late Sarah Elizabeth Reynolds Squires. He was US Army veteran and a was member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church, where served as a former deacon. Mr. Squires had a great love for riding motorcycles, oystering and shrimping.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Squires Cook (Scott Cook) of Georgetown and Melissa Squires Clemons (Jason) of Pawleys Island; and four grandsons, James Patrick Williams, Andrew Parker Williams, Jackson Franklin Clemons and Hudson Reed Clemons all of Pawleys Island.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael O. Squires.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church with Rev. Louis Imsande officiating.
A reception will follow the service in the Holsclaw Fellowship Hall.
