Obituary of Parker Green

Paul Douglas Parker “Diddy” Green, 35, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at MUSC – Florence, after a brief illness. Born on October 5, 1985, in Myrtle Beach, he was a son of Julie Parker Green and the late Paul Douglas Green. A true rolling stone, Parker loved and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and was one that never met a stranger. Parker had a great love for music, dancing, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and most of all spending time with his nephew Survivors include his mother of Myrtle Beach; maternal grandparents, Phyllis T. Green of Stokesdale and Dean and Marilyn Green all of Greensboro; one sister, Gillian Green Pauley of Summerville; two brothers, Jonathan Green (Katlyn Sellers) and Dillon Green all of Myrtle Beach; two nephews, Lathan Pauley of Summerville and Sullivan Douglas Green of Myrtle Beach; and two aunts, Lynn Morgan and Sherri Stewart (Jay) all of Greensboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Norman Parker; paternal grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Davis Green; maternal great grandparents, Marie Apple Parker and Julius Welborn Parker and Myrtle Wray Thomas and Lewis Sample Thomas; two uncles, Joe Norman "Skipper" Parker and Walter Franklin Green; and a special friend, Blair Truesdale.
