Obituary of Amelia Joyce Hanna

Amelia Joyce Hanna, 69, wife of Archie Douglas Hanna, passed away on Sunday December 27, 2015 at Bristol Hospital in Bristol, CT. Born on September 8, 1946, in Lake City, she was the daughter of the late William Eugene Gunter and the late Virginia Gray Gunter. Mrs. Hanna was a member of First Baptist Church and the Dr. Lide Williams Sunday School class. Survivors include her husband of Andrews; two daughters, Melissa Hanna (Shelia) of Charlotte, NC and Michele LaBerge (Aaron) of Burlington, CT; six grandchildren, Rachel Hudson (Andy) of Charlotte, Ashley Hensley (Cody) of Kings Mountain, NC, Christopher Cook of Charlotte, John Douglas LaBerge of Burlington, CT, Grayson LaBerge of Burlington, CT and Hanna LaBerge of Burlington, CT; and four great grandchildren, Brayden Hudson, Jonathan Hudson, Willow Hudson and Mason Hensley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Gunter. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow at 3 PM in Lake City Memorial Park in Lake City, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor.
