Obituary of Steve Sidney Thomas

Steve Sidney Thomas, 67, husband of Angela Todd Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on July 17, 1948, in Hemingway, he was a son of the late Tom Thomas and the late Edith Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a member of St. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from International Paper Company Container Division. Mr. Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; one sister, Lessie McCants (JT) of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Thomas; and five sisters, Margie Thomas, Kathryn Newton, Peggy Eaddy, Dorothy Poston and Doris Harrington. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Chris Browder officiating. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery.
