Obituary of John Edwin Hancock

John Edwin Hancock, 58, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. Born on October 15, 1962, in Titusville, FL, he was a son of Jack Lee Hancock and the late Geneva Kathleen Creel Hancock. Mr. Hancock attended Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a selfless and giving man who loved antiques, collecting coins and knives and spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Survivors include his father of Georgetown; two children, Chelsea Hancock of Georgetown and Matthew Hancock of Jacksonville, FL; the mother of his daughter, Monica Hancock of Georgetown; one brother, Paul Hancock (Robin) of Georgetown; one sister, Gina Jordan (Dean) of Georgetown; two nieces, Kaylee Hancock, Brittany Carter both of Georgetown; one nephew, Keith Hancock of Georgetown; and numerous special cousins and other special family members. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021, in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the graveside.
