Obituary of Wanda Buckner

Wanda Lee Burrier Buckner, 60, wife of Arthur James Buckner, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Community Hospital. Born on August 18, 1960, in Alliance, OH, she was a daughter of John Robert Burrier and the late Lorena Rydell Burrier. Mrs. Buckner was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, puzzles, listening to music, reading and most of all spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of Hemingway; father of Kent, OH; four children, Tyler Buckner (Courtney) of Hemingway, Celeste Buckner (Kerry) of Hemingway, Clifton Buckner of Wichita, KS and Melissa Guiboa (David) of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Tonya Salisbury (Bud) of Alliance, OH, Karen Anderson (Jerry) of Alliance, OH and Sunshine Winingman (Tony) of Alliance, OH; three brothers, George Burrier (Darlene) of Molena, GA, John Burrier (Rachel) of Alliance, OH and Robert Burrier (Kelsi) of Alliance, OH; two uncles, Raymond Rowley (Sharon) of Alliance, OH, Herk Rowley (Carol) of Hubbard, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorena Rydell Burrier; one nephew, Tony "T-Bone" Salisbury; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating.
