Obituary of William Gregory Phillips

William Gregory Alex “Twinkie” Phillips, 50, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on January 26, 1971, in Georgetown, he was a son of Pansy Lynn Poston Langston. “Twinkie” was a member of First Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing, hunting and living life to the fullest. Survivors include his mother of Georgetown; two children, Kaylee Ann Nicole Phillips and Camdyn Alex Phillips both of Georgetown; a sister, Mariah Ray of Georgetown; two brothers, Travis Ethridge and Kirvin Barrineau both of Georgetown; one niece, Schyler Ray; two nephews, Jackson Cagle and McKiver Poston; a special beloved aunt, Debbie Wyndham of Georgetown; and numerous cousins and other special family members. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Marilyn Berry; three uncles, James "Tootsie" Cusack, James Berry and Larry Poston; and a special cousin, Melissa Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at First Assembly of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
