Obituary of Miriam Copeland Barrineau

Miriam Copeland Barrineau, 93, widow of Earl Barrineau, Sr., passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on June 20, 1927, in Ehrhardt, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Copeland and the late Mary Elizabeth Smith Copeland. Mrs. Barrineau was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a retired school teacher, having spent 38 years in the classroom. Survivors include two sons, Earl Barrineau, Jr. (Lynne) of Andrews and Whit Barrineau (Stephanie) of Andrews; four grandchildren, Lewis Barrineau, Jr., Whitney Marie Barrineau and Dustin Barnhill all of Andrews and Tripp Barrineau of Rock Hill; four great grandchildren; and her faithful four legged companion, Buster. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Stacy Formica; and two brothers, Kenneth Copeland and TW Copeland. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
