Obituary of Lee Blakeley

Muldrew Lee Blakeley, Jr., 86, passed away at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Mr. Blakeley was born on July 15, 1934, in Orangeburg, SC, the son of the late Muldrew Lee Blakeley and the late Margaret Porter Matthews. He was a member of Grace Baptist Temple and a longtime member of Andrews First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a member of the choir. Mr. Blakeley enjoyed singing, traveling and watching the GAMECOCKS play football. Survivors include two children, Mary Lee Rigamonti (Giovanni) of San Antonio, TX and Muldrew Lee "Drew" Blakeley of Andrews; two grandchildren, Christian Rigamonti of San Antonio and Donovan Drew Blakeley of Greenville; and one sister, Virginia Kay Lott of Andrews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Nelle Blakeley; and one sister, Sandra Walker. Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to Andrews First Baptist Church, 6 N.
