Obituary of Don Franklin Cribb

Don Franklin Cribb, 84, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his daughter’s home. Born on August 29, 1936, in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Harris N. Cribb and the late Johnell Owens Cribb. Mr. Cribb was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith and Winyah Bass Masters. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, dove hunting, playing the guitar and golf. Survivors include two children, Cindy Miller (Steve) of Georgetown and Lynn Cribb (Bobbie Lynn) of Murrells Inlet; three grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Tiffany McConnell (Josh) and Terrin Reel; three great grandchildren, Christofer Johnson, Bristal McConnell and Hunter McConnell; one sister, Greta Owens of Hemingway; and one brother, Dink Cribb of Hemingway. He was preceded in death by a son, Don Cribb; two grandchildren, Dustin Ward and Taylor Lynn Cribb; and one sister, Jo Ann Altman. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
