Obituary of Kevin Johnson

Kelvin Cleveland “Kevin” Johnson, 43, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on January 5, 1977, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Ivan Earl Johnson and the late Sarah Elizabeth Lambert Johnson. Mr. Johnson was very handy and could fix most anything. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, spending time with his family and telling jokes. Survivors include three sons, Gage Austin Johnson, Stanley Luke Johnson and Bryice Bentley Edward Braun Johnson all of Georgetown; five brothers, Jeffrey Johnson of Georgetown, Barry Johnson (Kathleen) of Summerville, Casey Johnson of Georgetown, Jason Johnson of Georgetown and Darrin Johnson (Robin) of Georgetown; one sister, Angie Harter (Glenn) of Georgetown; the mothers of his children, Amanda Marie Miller Poston and Lavena Maria Braun Jordan both of Georgetown; nine nephews, Jeff Jr., Casey Jr., Trey, Jason, Jr., Darrin, Jr., Joshua, Matthew, Ivan, and Jeremiah; seven nieces, Sarah, Lizzy, Faith, Mary, Angel, Christina and Gracie; and two great nephews, Jaxson and Dalton "DJ", Jr. He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley H. Johnson; and one nephew, Brandon Johnson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
