Obituary of Larry Raymond Thompson

Larry Raymond Thompson, 68, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on August 16, 1952, in Roswell, NM, he was a son of the late Raymond Everett Thompson and the late Mary Griego Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a United States Air Force veteran and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, the cousin reunions and spending time with his granddaughter. Survivors include a son, Raymond "Justin" Thompson (Stacey) of Pawleys Island; one granddaughter, Ryleigh "Lollipop" Thompson of Pawleys Island; one brother, Darrell Thompson (Ruth) of Gates, NC; two sisters, Teresa Wiggins (Daren) of Troutman, NC and Betsy Prosser of Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Flowers; and brother in law, Dewey Flowers. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
