Obituary of Laura Ashlee Anderson

Laura Ashlee Anderson, 21, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Born on March 30, 1999, in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of Kimberly Johnson Wall and Adam Anderson. Laura was a member of Gourdines Chapel where she taught Sunday school and worked side by side with her dad at Anderson Body Shop. She attended Georgetown High School, was a graduate of SC Connections Academy and was currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Laura was full of life and had a great love for children and animals and helped with Hugs for Horses and Buddy Ball. Survivors include her mother of Andrews; father of Georgetown; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Shama Johnson of Andrews; paternal grandmother, Dianna Anderson of Georgetown; one sister, Jenna Anderson of Andrews; three brothers, Nicholas Anderson and Travis Anderson both of Georgetown and Alex Wall of Andrews; two step brothers, Spencer Wall of Georgetown and Harrison Wall of Georgetown; a beloved dachshund, Harlee; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her step father, Nick Wall; and paternal grandfather, Charles Anderson. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 30, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Georgetown. The family will receive friends following the service.
