Obituary of Maggie B. Cribb

Maggie Sue Barrineau Cribb, 73, widow of Tommy Cribb, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on October 29, 1946, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Luther Barrineau and the late Magaline Mitchum Barrineau. Mrs. Cribb enjoyed word puzzles, watching TV, taking naps and spending time with her family. She had a great love for coconut cake, Coca-Cola and her snuff. Survivors include two children, Bennie Avant of Georgetown and Penny Taylor of Pamplico; three grandchildren, Crystal Singletary (Kenneth) of Florence, Timothy Earl Taylor (Diane) of CO and Christopher Ryan Taylor of Aynor; three great grandchildren, Dakota Ryder Parker, Gloriann Singletary and Amyiah Singletary; five sisters, Katherine Cooper, Stella Major, Nancy Barrineau, Cynthia Cooper (Johnny Mac) and Barbara Cook (Kenneth) all of Georgetown; two brothers, Robert Barrineau of Georgetown and James Barrineau (Ruby) of Mullins; her fur baby, Girlie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benny Avant; two sons, Charlie Michael Avant and Anthony Michael Avant; a granddaughter, Catrina Taylor; and one sister, Eva Mae Lawson.
