Obituary of Carl William Tisdale

Carl William Tisdale, 77, beloved husband of Vera Mae Howard Tisdale, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020. Mr. Tisdale was born on October 22, 1942, in Kingstree and was a son of the late Eugene Tisdale and the late Eunice Hanniford Tisdale. He was a member of Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Georgetown County after 30 years of service. Mr. Tisdale had a great love for hunting, fishing, and watching football, especially CLEMSON and the DALLAS COWBOYS. Survivors include his wife of Andrews; five children, Darlene McDonald (Willie) of Georgetown, William Tisdale (Kathy) of Andrews, Greg Tisdale of Georgetown, Sabrina Adair (John) of Murrells Inlet and Karla Canteen (Reggie) of Florence; nineteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Tisdale of Sumter and Kenneth Tisdale of Kingstree; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Aaron Tisdale. Funeral services will be private.
