Obituary of Anastacio Castro

Anastacio Castro, 60, beloved husband of Carmen L. Rosario, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on April 15, 1959, in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, he was a son of the late Hector Pineda and the late Concepcion Castro. Pastor Castro had a great love for the Lord and showed it through singing, praying and pastoring at Iglesia Monte de Santidad. He enjoyed baseball, watching the YANKEES, working with his hands, spending time with his family and most of all serving his Lord Jesus Christ. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; ten children, Javier Castro, Fabiola Castro, Hector Castro, Shaina Castro, Emily Castro, Juan Pineda, Carmen Sierra, Eduardo Rodriguez, Yahaira Rodriguez and Ester Menendez; numerous grandchildren; one brother, Antonio Moreno; three sisters, Alejandra Luna, Marie Moreno and Irene Luna; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Friends are invited to pay their respects from 12 PM – 4 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
