Obituary of Uldine Lambert Thomas Causey

Udline M. Lambert Thomas Causey, 85, widow of Bill Causey, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on May 2, 1930, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Pringle Lambert and the late Carrie White Lambert. Mrs. Causey was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church, Women’s Auxiliary and a former Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Causey enjoyed reading and gardening. Survivors include three children, Dwight Thomas (Deborah), Kathy Larson and Brad Thomas (Dianne) all of Georgetown; nine grandchildren, Gwen Hardee (Samuel), Haley Burroughs (Joseph), Neil Thomas (Sandy), Wendy Rogers (Stephen), Freddie Sims (Mindy), Jill Brown (Wes), Erin Watkins (Dale), Bradley Thomas and Parker Thomas; 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Lambert of Georgetown; one son in law, Bernard Sims of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wallie Thomas; a daughter, Naydean Thomas Sims; two sisters, Thelma Lambert and Pauline Hamilton; and two brothers, Johnny Lambert and Aaron Lambert. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Chris Browder officiating. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery.
