Obituary of George Robert Evans

George Robert Evans, 62, husband of Lillie Samantha Shupp Evans, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at The Medical University of South Carolina.

Born on May 25, 1957, in Fairmont, WV, he was a son of the late George Edward Evans and the late Charlotte Rose Semans Evans. Mr. Evans was a simple man who loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of Andrews; three children, Robert Edward Evans (Brandi) of Andrews, George Cody Evans (Joanna) of Andrews and Holly Irene Evans of Florence; five grandchildren, Dane Evans, Dallon Evans, Randa Evans, Mason Jordan and Lilly Evans; three sisters, Judy Greaser (Rod), Linda Evans and Patty Reese (Bill) all of Fairmont, WV; one brother, Tom Evans of Fairmont, WV; one nephew; and four nieces.

A celebration of Mr. Evans’ life will be held at a later date.
