Neice Shirley and grand-nephew Colin Thornley send much love to all of Aunt Jennie Lee's family and close friends. She has always played a huge part in our lives through her love, example, faith and strength. We remember her as a princess of YHWH, a force of nature and the epitome of a "down to earth" southern lady. Aunt Jennie Lee was Shirley's mentor and second mom for raising a family and being anchored to Jesus. Colin remembers many afternoon/evening hymn sings under Uncle "Dannel's" and Aunt "JenLee's" porch/carport. As a child, Colin was always mesmerized by the beautiful and gifted Miller girls and their musical/vocal abilities. He figured they were regulars at the Grand Ole Opry and the TV stars behind Petticoat Junction! Though Aunt Jeannie Lee would be the first to admit she was a sinner saved by grace, she surely also had plenty of saintly brilliance because of Jesus! Oh how we will miss her steadfastness and strength! We love you all more than words can convey.
"What a Day that will be when our Jesus we will see and he takes us by the hand and leads us to the Promised Land!"
