Obituary of Teresa Causey Michau

Teresa Causey Michau, 60, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Born on January 23, 1958, in Conway, Teresa was the daughter of the late John Hoyt Causey and the late Geraldine Barnhill Causey. She attended Georgetown First Assembly of God and worked for many years at the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office. Teresa enjoyed life and had a great love for shopping, going to the beach, traveling to the mountains and spending time with her friends.

She was beautiful inside and out and was known for her loving smile and beautiful personality. Teresa was the true definition of a friend. Her fun-loving personality made her a joy to be around and she was loved by everyone who met her. To know her was to love her, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include two children, Justin Michau (Marla) of Leroy, NY and Brandon Michau of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Fabienne Michau, Estelle Michau and Abram Michau; two brothers, Larry Causey (Denise) of Spartanburg and Barry Causey (Catherine) of Georgetown; and two special friends, Wanda Holt of Georgetown and Debbie Cagle of Georgetown.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Georgetown First Assembly of God.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM at Georgetown First Assembly of God.
