Obituary of John D Rodriguez

John D. Rodriguez, 19, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018.

Born on May 6, 1999, in Fort Worth, TX, he was a son of April Dawn Kischner-Hockett and Oscar Jesus Rodriguez. John was a United States Marine serving with the 4th Marine Regiment stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, weight lifting and going to the beach. John was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mike Hockett of Georgetown; father and stepmother, Sheri Rodriguez of Alachua, FL; Ryan Hockett of Amarillo, TX, Joeseph Rodriquez of Georgetown, Tyler Hockett of Oklahoma City, OK, Jared Rodriguez of Langley Air Force Base, VA; maternal grandfather, John D. Kirschner of Haltom City, TX; maternal great grandparents, Grace Shepard of Cedar Creek, TX and Joseph Kirschner of Arlington, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded by a maternal great grandmother, Doris Osgood.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
