Obituary of Marsha Morris Davis

Marsha Raye Morris Davis, 56, wife of Walter W. “Juan” Davis, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Roper Hospice Cottage.

Born on April 28, 1962, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Benjamin “R.B.” Morris, Jr. and the late Glyn Dell Blakely Morris. Mrs. Davis was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church where she was involved in many church activities to include working in the kitchen. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed swimming, riding horses and baking, especially bread and cinnamon rolls. Most of all, Mrs. Davis lived her life for her children and they were her greatest blessings.

Survivors include her husband of Andrews; two children, Walter Brandan Davis of Andrews and Deanna Raye Davis of Andrews; one sister, Glenda Morris Casselman (Bruce) of Andrews; two brothers, Benjamin Steve Morris (Marilyn) of Andrews and Michael Blakely Morris (Annette) of Andrews; one sister in law, Karen Casselman of Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert David "Peewee" Morris and George Randall "Randy" Morris; one sister, Mae Ellen Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Piney Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Piney Forest Baptist Church
