Obituary of Frances Burrows Roberts
Frances Burrows "Carrinell" Roberts, 79, widow of Travis Roberts, Jr., passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born on July 29, 1939, in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late James Marion Burrows and the late Hettie Myzell Morris Burrows. Mrs. Roberts attended Ringel Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed NASCAR, word search puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Regina Roberts Trejo (Solomon) of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Roberts, Travis Roberts, Morgan Trejo, James Trejo, and Paisley Trejo all of Georgetown; two sisters, Edna Tisdale of Kingstree, Christine Alderson (Jerry) of Columbia, Jay Burrows (Irene) of Columbia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Roberts; one brother, Henry Burrows; and one sister, Leoda Baylor.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in New Zion Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Wednesday at the church.
