Obituary of Glyn Hampton Johnson

Glyn Hampton Johnson, 65, husband of Doris Nesbitt Johnson, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at The Medical University of South Carolina.

Born on April 25, 1953, in Georgetown, he was a son of Nettie Ruth Robison Johnson and the late Henry Rothie Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from the Georgetown Steel Mill and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; mother of Georgetown; one son, Johnny Self (Lisa) of Pawleys Island; one sister, Mary R. Johnson of Georgetown; one brother, James D. Johnson (Jeanine) of Myrtle Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, May 11, 2018 at the home of his mother, 207 West Virginia Rd. Georgetown, SC 29440.
